DR FIONA LITTLE

Dr. Fiona Little is a female periodontist that graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Sydney and spent four years in private practice before joining the Royal Flying Doctor Service in Broken Hill. After returning to Sydney in 1993, she worked in private practice and later at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, with extensive exposure in treating medically compromised patients. Fiona attained a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in 1999 before pursuing specialist training in Periodontics at the University of Melbourne, earning a Doctor of Clinical Dentistry degree.

Returning to Sydney in 2006, Fiona established herself as a periodontist, founding South West Periodontics in Campbelltown in 2012. Alongside her clinical work, Fiona has served as the past President of the Australian Society of Periodontology (NSW branch) and is an active member of various professional organisations including the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Periodontology, Australasian Osseointegration Society, and International Team for Implantology.

Fiona is passionate about teaching and has provided education to students pursuing Bachelor of Dentistry, Doctor of Dental Medicine, and Bachelor of Oral Health degrees. She has also delivered lectures on periodontics and dental implants both locally and interstate. In her spare time, Fiona enjoys family moments and pursuing her hobbies of running, swimming, and playing the violin.
