DR DENNY LUO
Dr. Denny Luo is a male periodontist that graduated from James Cook University in Cairns with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery, followed by a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (Honours). Denny completed the Primary Dental Sciences Examination with the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in 2018. Developing a deep interest in periodontics and implant dentistry, Denny completed a Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (Periodontics) at the University of Sydney. He was further admitted as a Member of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in Primary Dental Sciences and in the Specialist Dental Practice discipline of Periodontics.
Denny has contributed to reputable international journals, presented at multiple research conferences, and has been honoured with various awards, including the Straumann Group Research Award, the Australian Dental Research Foundation Grant, the Colgate Travel Award (to present research at the 58th Annual Scientific Meeting of the IADR ANZ Division), the Australian Society of Periodontology Medal, the Best Research Poster Prize for the JCU Colleges of Medicine & Dentistry and Healthcare Sciences, the NAHSS Allied Health Clinical Placement Scholarship, the Head of Dentistry Best Student Research Poster (JCU), and the Overall Best Poster Award for Research at the JCU College of Dentistry: Clinical Day.
Denny actively participates in clinical education at the Sydney Dental School, contributing to both the Doctor of Dental Medicine and the Bachelor of Oral Health programs. He extends his support to fellow dental practitioners within the broader dental community and eagerly offers assistance in all aspects of periodontics and implant dentistry.
